Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 may not release this year according to an interview by director Tetsuya Nomura. He said the games "still have a way to go" before either is ready to ship. What's troubling is that "there are still worlds untouched and production is progressing on unannounced worlds, in a state that we cannot show them off."
Tetsuya Nomura wants both games to meet expectations so it's understandable that they want to take their time. However, given the fact that there are worlds still untouched in Kingdom Hearts 3, that's a little worrying. If the game was going to release in 2017 there should've been some basic groundwork for them laid out. They should've at least been presentable. This leads me to believe that Kingdom Hearts 3, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake, won't be out in 2017 because the interview makes it seem like the games are only half complete.
