When Final Fantasy 15 launched last month, many gamers brought up concerns about the title being exceptionally blurry on Xbox One. We investigated these claims ourselves and in many portions of the game, especially the non-linear sequences and the beginning, the visual presentation of Final Fantasy 15 was quite muddy and it made discerning distant objects difficult. Sometimes it was hard to make out enemies too. We weren’t sure if this was a problem with the fact that the game uses a lower resolution on the console or another bug. We reached out to Square Enix about this and today we got a response about what they plan to do.
Square Enix said, “We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible in an upcoming patch scheduled for early next year.” The company knows that the blurry visuals affect gameplay and are a cause for concern for many Xbox One gamers. This is definitely a priority for them.
I’m glad it’s being addressed and it’s being addressed soon. Final Fantasy 15 is a great game and we’ve been addicted to it here at ICXM.net for weeks now. If you haven’t checked it out, you should do so because it’s fantastic. For those of you who had concerns about the blurry visuals, rest assured that they’ll be fixed soon. Hopefully this response eases many of the concerns Xbox One owners had about the game.
