Despite many of us looking forward to the November update for Xbox One, Microsoft has not forgotten about the Xbox 360. Far from it! The Xbox 360 has just received an update full of new features.
One of the biggest additions is 2GB of Cloud storage. This will not only useful for 360 users, but also Xbox One owners who want to bring over their saves for backwards-compatible titles. Also introduced is the functionality to connect your Xbox 360 to a network that requires a Terms of Use Acceptance, common in public places like hospitals and hotels.
The update also adds the Activity Feed, much like the Xbox One. This lets you comment or like your friends Activities, and watch recorded gameplay or view screenshots. You can now also see what your friends are playing on Xbox One and Windows 10.
Other features include the ability to redeem Xbox Live Marketplace codes directly through messages, and a new feature that displays your Microsoft account balance whilst viewing content in the marketplace.
It’s great to see Microsoft’s ongoing support for the Xbox 360, despite most off it’s attention being expectedly taken by the Xbox One. What do you think of the new Xbox 360 update? Leave a comment and let us know.
