The Co-Creative Director of Ark: Survival Evolved has said not to worry about the game’s optimization on Xbox One, as it is still in its Pre-Alpha stage. The developer goes on to say that the studio hasn’t even started optimization yet, and they have yet to add significant features.
Don’t worry about @survivetheark optimization, we haven’t started yet. Game is still Pre-Alpha with significant features yet to be added.

This is good news for the fans who believe that Ark looks less than spectacular on Xbox One. There have been many complaints online saying that the game’s graphics and performance are poor. Digital Foundry has found that the game runs below 720p and at times can drop below 20 FPS. In addition to these problems, some players also report significant lag issues.
It is important to note that the Xbox One version of Ark is only available via the Game Preview Program. The game is not finalized and the developers are using player feedback to see what fixes need to be made. Ark: Survival Evolved is set to see its full release on Xbox One sometime in June 2016.
