For the next couple of weeks, I want to shed some light on not only some really great podcasts that we all tune into but also to the podcasters that are on each of the shows. Each podcast delivers something unique and different. You may even see some of the same people on each show. When it comes down to it, we listen because of the great personalities and unique perspectives each one of them brings. Mondays get the week rolling with the great gamers from the TXR Podcast. Let’s take a closer look at what makes TXR a great show every week.
TXR was founded in 2015 by Southbound, TXR has evolved into a podcast that stands out from others. It’s where you go for information and insightful news from around the industry of gaming. It’s always mindful of the views of gamers around the world. This podcast is held every Monday at 10 PM EST unless a scheduling issue arises or a special interview that may change the time and date. TXR has a core group of panel members that make the show each week. They all have great chemistry while giving their opinions about the show’s topics. TXR talks about the latest gaming topics and also providing interviews from developers like Sam Abbott and Nalia Hadjas from We Happy Few, to even some of the movers and shakers of the gaming industry such as Aaron Greenberg. This bunch of guys goes above and beyond to put a great show and entertain the viewers. They stay true to themselves and their passion for gaming.
Spotlight
Enough about me talking about TXR, let’s see what the TXR crew have to say a little about themselves, for anyone who may not know them.
Rand or @Rand_al_Thor_19 : Hey guys! My name is Matt better known as Rand al Thor 19 on Xbox Live. I have the 3rd highest gamerscore in the United States and I broke the million gamerscore mark during the Xbox Daily show at E3 this past year. I also stream regularly on Twitch, with different style games. I love video games, achievements, and Xbox. But something you might not know, my first love was Nintendo. Favorite fantasy novels series and where Rand Al Thor, gamer tag came from The Wheel of Time. Lastly, it was Call of Duty 2, where the love of achievements started.
Maka or @PMaka1991: My name is Patrick, but people might know me as Maka and I make game guides on the internet. As a long time gamer, I use TXR Podcast as an outlet to share my thoughts about the exciting news around the video game industry on a weekly basis, trying to bring a unique opinion to the table. You’ll most likely catch me playing new releases; primarily FPS and racing games but no game are off limits. When I’m not making videos or earning gamerscore, you might catch streaming to twitch or posting on twitter. Happy Gaming!
Tim or @BeastFireTimdog: Call me Timdog, I am just an average everyday guy that loves tech, video games, and a fan of Xbox. I have gamed for over 30 years, was a Xbox Live beta tester, and became know on Twitter @pnf4lyfe, @projectnatalfan, now @beastfiretimdog. I do several podcasts, TXR, Xbox Uncut, and BGST. I love talking games, talking video game industry, and playing games with friends on Xbox Live. I love being on TXR because of knowledge of the panel, and interviewing people in the industry. Looking to interviewing more and more people, to me it’s all a learning experience.
South or @SOUTHBOUND110: My name is SOUTHBOUND110 an Xbox superfan from So Cal. Been on Xbox Live over 11 years and I’ve met a lot of great people in this Xbox community and it made me want to start a TXR Podcast from a new, fresh and different perspective.
Jeff or @DocCupCake84: Military Veteran, Full Time Student Majoring in Comm Studies w Minors in Marketing, Information Management Technology. I also volunteer for 4 charities that help with veterans, homeless, autistic children and sexual assault victims. I have been gaming as long as I can remember. I am an equal gamer, but prefer to play on Xbox One. It’s where I feel most comfortable. I love the Xbox community and giving back to those in need. I talk on TXR Podcast to give gamers and fans a more common sense view. That’s me, Doc.
Inferno or @_Inferno217: I’m Mike one of the newer panelists on The Xbox Roundtable (TXR) Podcast and the producer of the 4GuysWithQuarters Podcast! While primarily a die-hard Xbox gamer for the past 14 years, I also currently enjoy gaming on my PC and (less so) my PS4. Lately, I’ve been fortunate enough to attend gaming conferences like PAX East and E3, and I’ve really enjoyed connecting with the community members and developers! Without a doubt, my proudest moment in Xbox-gaming history was winning the Forza Horizon 3 tournament at the Xbox E3 2016 event (I’ll always find an excuse to show off the trophy)! I joined TXR to discuss Xbox-related news in a professional manner with extraordinary members of the gaming community that have similar gaming interests!
TXR also has had a couple of other members including Jeremy Downer or @LonemasterWho07 and WORRYWART. Who both may not be there but are not forgotten.
Community Events
Community game time’s sole purpose is to bring the Xbox gaming community together. A poll is set out each week so that the community of gamers can decide what game we play on community game time. It’s a great way to get the community involved, after all, it’s for the community. Also, not forgetting the gamers at work or just can’t join in, there is a livestream they can watch and have fun in the chat. This event is brought to you by the Console Corner Podcast hosted by GKB and myself. With the help other Console Corner members joining in on regular bases like Fox Fire and Brewtal Knight. It’s held on Saturday nights, all Xbox Live members are welcome and it always starts at 9:30 PM EST.

You can watch Xbox Uncut on Beam here. You should also check out the OneCast on SoundCloud here.
Much like the gamers on each podcast, they need help to bring this vision of their character to reality, bring each persona to life, with the power of design and art. The amazing designers Jay William or @Graphic_God and others like @DineroPrimero, @MANNY_TATTOOS, @Crypt_Concepts and @shaunlabrie, as well as a few others not mentioned here, make that possible.
SheWulf contributed 8 articles to ICXM in 2016, covering Xbox news with a focus on hands-on impressions and verified-source reporting. Their bylines on the site span the run-up to Xbox One S and Project Scorpio, plus the broader Windows 10 gaming push.
