Update: Nordic Games confirmed the title for Xbox One and other platforms. It might even launch on October 25 according to a date leaked by a retailer.
Darksiders was a sort of cult classic title on previous generation consoles and the remaster of the game’s sequel was fairly popular when it released late last year. A NeoGAF user by the name of Hero of Legend spotted a potential remaster of the original Darksiders on rental service Gamefly.
While the pages have now been taken down, Hero of Legend found pages for numerous systems, including Xbox One. One of these versions was marked for a release on Nintendo’s Wii U system and when asked by Hero of Legend on Twitter, Nordic Games did say that they were working on a Wii U game that “Action Adventure fans will enjoy a lot”.
@GoldMetalSonic Yes, we have one in the works…I think Action Adventure fans will enjoy this a lot…

While this is no confirmation that Darksiders 1 is getting remastered by Nordic, the success of the sequel’s remaster would make a simple remaster of the original a good idea for a few easy bucks. Tell us what you think in the comments below.
