Raven Software, who have done extensive work for Call of Duty in the past, will be developing the highly anticipated remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Activision has claimed that the remaster will include “vibrant current-generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound and much more.”
As well as a fully revamped campaign, “players will also experience the online multiplayer mode that redefined Call of Duty” across ten of Modern Warfare’s maps. Only three of these maps have been announced, however, which are Crash, Backlot and—my personal favorite of the three—Crossfire.
Are you okay with Raven handling this remaster? What other Modern Warfare maps do you want to see? Tell us how you feel about this in the comments below. It should be noted that the game can only be bought as part of the special editions of the game, you can’t get it standalone. Bear that in mind before making any purchasing decisions though I’m sure codes will show up on CD Keys and G2A sooner or later. The remaster will also have dedicated servers. They went all out for this.
