Last year, players fell in love with Ori and the Blind Forest and on March 11, it’s getting a definitive edition. The definitive edition is good for both new and returning players to the game as it adds two new areas, difficulty options, and gameplay updates. The levels that they will be adding have unique mechanics added to them so they aren’t just updated old levels. Also a major thing is the expanding of the theater which allows you to view cutscenes but now will also contain game trailers, concept art, and behind-the-scenes clips.
The price will be $20 but if you already own the game you only have to pay $5 to upgrade to the definitive edition. What are your opinions on it? Personally I think it’s great that they are adding so much more to the game and that they aren’t making it that expensive to the players that originally owned the game.
Additionally, the game has been delayed on Windows so only the Xbox One version will release this week.
