Microsoft exploring ways to bring Pokémon Go to Windows Mobile

Pokemon Go has taken the world by storm, becoming the single most popular mobile game in history, and causing a massive spike in the share price of Nintendo. The game, which has managed to rake in over $2 Million a day for Niantic, have launched on iOS and Android recently. However, fans on Windows 10 have looked on wanting to get in on the action, but Niantic hasn’t thrown users on the Microsoft platform a bone yet.

However, recent events might show some hope for fans on Windows. After receiving 75000 upvotes on the Windows Feedback site, Microsoft has updated the page to note that they’re ‘Exploring’ ways to bring the popular game to Windows Phone. According to WinBeta, they might either pay Niantic to bring the app to Windows or give development assistance so they can easily port the apps. Windows 10 already supports the iOS bridge, which will speed up this process.

Pokemon Go is currently available on iOS and Android in the US, UK, New Zeeland and Australia, with more countries coming soon.
