Remedy working on Quantum Break patch for Windows 10

Quantum Break launched for Windows 10 with numerous bugs and errors regarding frame rate, incorrect frame-pacing, stuttering, crashes and decreasing performance the longer you play the game. Coming from Remedy Entertainment this was a pretty big disappointment as Remedy have an extremely good track record when it comes to gaming on PC.

Remedy have recently announced that they are working with both AMD and Nvidia to improve the PC port’s disappointing performance. The developers have acknowledged that Quantum Break launched with a myriad of problems on PC and are working on patches to fix these problems.

They have also announced that they will be patching the game to include quitting from the game’s main menu—users have to use Alt+F4 for now—and features like turning off film grain as well as adding support for G-Sync and Freesync monitors.

While Quantum Break shouldn’t have launched in such a problematic state in the first place, it is good to see a developer own up to their mistakes and hopefully we’ll see Quantum Break patched into the great game it is intended to be.
