Rare have been hiring a lot of employees over the past three months—including their newest employees this brings the total amount of noteworthy new hires to thirteen—and the company doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
The Britain-based developers have recently hired three new employees, this time bringing on David Dempsey and Ian Norris of Guitar Hero developers FreeStyleGames as well as Ted Timmins who worked at Lionhead Studios.
Dempsey and Norris will be joining the engineering team for Rare and Timmins will be joining the PC design and development team at the company. Rare’s sudden growth recently could be a hint at the company working on another big project alongside their upcoming pirate-multiplayer game Sea of Thieves although the company could just need extra help bringing their vision for Sea of Thieves to life.
