The upcoming Xbox One S 2TB version have taken the top spot at Gamestop this week according to analytics website Punchjump. The console has seen massive success at places like Amazon and Best-Buy, and Gamestop just joined the list. The 2TB version was announced at E3 this year, and will launch on August 2.
The Xbox One have had a troubled generation up to now, and it’s good to see it perform quite well at retail. However, we don’t know official preorder numbers, and it might not be made public thanks to Microsoft’s new focus on Xbox Live subscriptions. The console features a 4K UHD Blu-ray player, 4K gaming via upscaling and features a 40% smaller footprint amongst others.
