Invincible VS adds Angstrom Levy as its 21st fighter on October 13

Angstrom Levy joins Invincible VS on October 13. He is the third DLC fighter and the 21st playable character.

Xbox Wire set out the details: a zoning character who fights through portals and summonable orbs rather than pressure and reach.

How Angstrom Levy plays

Developer Quarter Up and publisher Skybound Games built him around setup and control.

His “portals and orbs have unique interactions that give you even more ways to manipulate the fight, pressure your opponent and experiment with different setups,” Xbox says.

The studio frames him as a character for players willing to put hours in. “Whether you’re using portals to escape pressure, setting a trap for an unsuspecting opponent or finding your own ridiculous combinations with his orbs, there’s a lot to discover.”

That is a familiar trade. A trap and portal character is weak for a new player and miserable to face in trained hands.

It also reshapes the roster more than another rushdown pick would, because it punishes habits built against everyone else.

Where to play him first

Anyone at Evo France this month gets him early. Xbox says he will be playable at the event before release.

That is the usual pattern for fighting game DLC: the competitive crowd gets hands-on time, and the footage does the marketing.

Invincible VS price and platforms

Invincible VS launched on April 30, 2026. It is an Xbox Play Anywhere title covering Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

On PC the Steam listing prices the base game at $29.99 in the US.

Xbox has not published a separate price for Angstrom Levy, and the post does not say whether he is in a season pass.

Season 2 is the frame, which makes him the middle of a run rather than a finale. Three DLC characters since April is a steady cadence for a roster reaching 21.

Play Anywhere matters more than usual here. A roster addition is only as good as the population still playing, and one pool across console, PC and cloud is how a mid-sized fighter keeps queue times survivable.

Skybound has treated the license as a live service rather than a one-off since launch.

Three DLC fighters in roughly six months is a faster cadence than most mid-sized fighting games manage, and it suggests the player base has held up well enough to justify the work.

The roster started at 18. Angstrom takes it to 21, which is a reasonable size for a game this young.

Fighting game rosters live or die on matchup variety, and Invincible VS has leaned on aggressive characters so far. A dedicated zoner gives the metagame somewhere new to go, assuming he lands in a usable state.
