Voting for maps won’t be allowed in Halo 5

Since the release of Halo: Reach, Halo gamers have had the ability to choose which map they want to play on in the beginning of each multiplayer match. Although this may sound like a good idea for some gamers, there are others that strongly oppose to it due to the fact that you may play the same map and mode over and over again. I have experienced this problem myself and hate playing on the same map.

With that in mind, lots of Halo fans started wondering about how it would be in Halo 5: Guardians. This led to a variety of posts in the Halo Waypoint community forums requesting a simple veto option, or the no voting system at all, to keep the multiplayer experience fresh.

Yesterday the answer to that was given by the Executive Producer of Halo 5: Guardians, Josh Holmes, over a Twitter response to one of the fans in which he confirmed that Halo 5 would not have a voting system like the previous titles.

This means that either the maps will be randomly assigned, like once were in the Halo 2, or will be using on a rotation system, like Titanfall. Either way this is something that a lot of Halo fans will be happy about, especially those that are tired to play the same map and mode over and over. This new rotation feature will be present in both Arena and Warzone modes.
