Phil Spencer; the head of Xbox and avid fan of responding to tweets from fans, divulged some interesting news that may stun those who thought the Xbox Scorpio would be the last in a long line of console generations. Phil stated that the team over at Xbox have already started thinking about what will come next.
@umairshazi Already have ideas for what could be after Scorpio. Great thing in gaming, early tech adopters and best creators of any industry

Aaron Greenberg stated earlier that the upcoming Scorpio will mean the death of console generations in the traditional sense, or that it was their goal in the end. However, this was quickly misconstrued by some to mean that Microsoft was killing off the Xbox. Microsoft announced the Scorpio at E3 this year, as a way to ready gamers to the future of the platform, where you wouldn’t have to wait for up to ten years to upgrade your experience, instead opting for a more fluid cycle where you can upgrade when your budget or gaming needs require.
The Xbox One Scorpio will launch in Holiday 2017, and will feature a massive six teraflop GPU and will have high-fidelity VR support at launch.
