The latest table to hit Pinball FX 2 is based on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. However, it’s not your standard table. It’s split into ten different modes or stages. For those of you who don’t know, Pinball FX 2 is a free-to-play game where you can buy additional tables for further enjoyment. Recently we took a look at the Bethesda tables which include gems like Skyrim and were blown away by their quality. So, where does Rogue One stand?
There are a number of challenges in the game like avoiding stormtrooper detection to avoiding the footsteps of an AT-AT. There are many other interesting creative touches in there which elevate the experience. You’ll need to master timing to succeed in this table.
The Rogue One table also features all the sound effects and music you’d expect and its a great addition. You feel like you’re in Star Wars and it adds to the tension. There are also character animations from the characters Jyn Erso, a menacing death trooper to Orson Krennic. Aside from that, there are ship animations in the background. The table is definitely alive and more detailed than other tables available in Pinball FX 2.
Going back to the challenges, all the different ones made me wish I could use the force because they were actually that difficult. Rogue One isn’t easy at all despite being just a pinball game. That being said, it’s a fun and welcome addition to Pinball FX2 and will release on January 31. Be sure to check it out.
