With it only being ten days after the launch of The Division, there have already been a ton of updates to the game fixing many problems players have had. Ubisoft said in its recent State of the Game post that “The game may have just released but we already have a new update for you to dive into! This will be in your hands next week and fear not, more information about it will be revealed very soon so keep your eyes peeled.”
The way they worded it makes it sound like we will be able to maybe dive into some new content next week but then again it may just be another patch. If it is a patch it could definitely address the recent problems players have been having with the few Phoenix Credits you get after killing a boss or even decrease the amount of experience you lose when dying as a rogue which they recently addressed.
I think it’s awesome that the developers are keeping up with the updates to help fix the game and I think content this early would definitely help keep the audience they have already built up. I also love how active they have been with communicating with the players and not keeping them in the dark as it really helps the game from becoming dry to players early in its life.
