Assassin’s Creed Rogue released in 2014 alongside Assassin’s Creed Unity, but was undoubtedly the more popular release even though it launched on last-generation hardware. Taking gameplay mechanics from Black Flag, Rogue serves as a prequel of sorts to Assassin’s Creed 3, and stars Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac as he struggles with hunting down former members of his Brotherhood in America.

Borderlands 2, which was announced as a free Games with Gold title next month, brings players back to Pandora once more as they take on Handsome Jack, leader of the Hyperion Corporation, who plans on opening another Vault.

Gyromancer, Moon Diver, Space Invaders Infinity Gene, and The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match all originally released as Xbox Live Arcade titles. For a full list of backward compatible titles, click here.
