Electronic Arts might have suffered a security breach according to a Pastebin data dump. A few days ago a user who wishes to remain anonymous said that he started receiving multiple password reset emails from various online services. A few hours later, he received an email from rbnhd.com, a service that sends notifications to people whose data has been exposed online. The email contained a link to a Pastebin page where the data of around 600 EA users was listed.
Only details for users whose name begin with A-F were shown, meaning there might be more data still not made public. The data contained usernames, emails, passwords, and a list of games for each account. What’s surprising is that even though there’s a list of 600 EA users out there, Electronic Arts is denying any hack took place. They promised to investigate nonetheless. I would recommend changing passwords.
