It’s that time of year again, the UK’s biggest gaming event is set for the 24th – 27th September. 2015’s event is expected to be the best yet in EGX history.
If you have attended Earls Court from past EGX’s you’ll remember the show floors packed with huge numbers of playable games and plenty of game merchandise to get your hands on.
Game developer live demos/sessions and other game related features are abundant so you’ll always have something to do.
EGX 2015 will be held at the NEC in Birmingham which is centrally situated, so if you plan on getting there by plane or train, be sure to check out this page HERE before travelling.
EGX will offer something for everyone, from playable AAA titles to Indie Games being showcased in the Rezzed area. There will also be a huge extensive collection of classic consoles and computers for all your Retro gaming needs.
In 2014 EGX partnered with Gfinity to bring competitive gaming and Esports to the stage, 2015’s set to be bigger and better.
Developer sessions from world-renowned studios gives you the insight into their latest games, and gives you a chance to asking that burning question you’ve meant to ask, (Maybe the burning feeling was from all those hotdogs and mustard.)
If you want to find out what it takes to get a career in games, there’s the games industry fair too, be sure to check out an industry panel or get networking with fellow games industry professionals.
Lastly Cosplay, it wouldn’t be EGX without it. If you fancy taking part yourself or simply want to watch the masquerade or panel session then you’d be happy to know that EGX is carrying on the tradition.
Be sure to grab your tickets, if earlier years are to go by tickets will sell out within a few days. You can buy early entry day tickets from Thursday through to Sunday, or if like me you want to see it all and make a week of it, then the 4 day super pass is for you.

Let us know if you are heading there this year in the comments below or tweet our community account ( @ICXM_Network ) if you fancy seeing who else is attending.
