Recent rumours of the Xbox One receiving support for virtual reality are all but confirmed at this point. Following reports of a more powerful Xbox One built for VR and of a “well-known” developer creating a VR game for Xbox One is now followed up with even more evidence pointing at a VR release for Microsoft’s console.
The website for the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo has listed numerous products from four different companies under the category “Virtual Reality > Xbox One”. The four companies are Rebellion, Maximum Games, 3DRudder and Readily Information Co. While Rebellion and Maximum make software for the console. 3DRunner are a company that are creating a “feet-based VR motion controller”.
Looking at the evidence above, it seems that virtual reality is extremely likely to come to Xbox One with an announcement during Microsoft’s conference next month. Tell us what you think about this in the comments below.
