Skyrim: Special Edition runs at 1080p on Xbox One. During an in-depth analysis of the upcoming remaster by Digital Foundry, they supposed experts confirmed that the game ran at 1080p on both consoles according to Bethesda.
What I’m excited to see is if Bethesda will update Skyrim: Special Edition so that it runs at 4K 60 FPS on Xbox Scorpio considering that it is a single-player non-competitive experience. They already have the mechanics baked into the engine because it supports 60 FPS gameplay on Windows. Here’s hoping.
