Today on the official Halo Waypoint blog, 343 Industries announced that the remastered version of Halo 3: ODST would launch next month in 1080p and 60 frames per second. Both the new Relic map and Halo 3: ODST will be free to players who purchased Halo: The Master Chief Collection between November 11 and December 19 of last year. The free content was promised to players who experienced issues with multiplayer during that time period.
Community Manager Andy Dudensky wrote, “We’re excited about the progress of the Relic multiplayer map remake and the Campaign for Halo 3: ODST, both of which are on track to release within Halo: The Master Chief Collection next month with our next content update. Look for more details next month, including the final map name for the Relic remake, release date and more.”
