P.T.-like Allison Road resurrected by developer

Allison Road, the spiritual successor of Konami’s P.T, was cancelled back in June which everyone presumed was due to legal issues with Konami. Now, creator Chris Kesler is back and with him comes the revitalisation of Allison Road.

With the return to development, Allison Road will no longer be worked on by the full team at Lilith Ltd, the previous developers of the game, but will instead be developed by just Kesler and his wife under the new team label, Far From Home.

In an interview with IGN, Kesler said that “It did take a bit of soul searching to find the drive again to work on Allison Road and to simply make a call on what to do next. After the set back, I took a bit of a break from working on it and re-evaluated all the work that had been done so far — the whole journey, so to speak. I started making a few (in my opinion) necessary changes to the story and the flow, little bits and pieces here and there, and before I knew it, it sort of naturally came back to life” and that he was “really happy to be able to announce that will continue.”

I, for one, am extremely happy that Allison Road will be returning I hope that the originally planned Xbox One version is still in the works as well.
