Gears of War 4 experiencing numerous issues on Windows 10

Update: There were Xbox One versions too and they had no issues whatsoever.

I’m currently standing in a gigantic two-hour long queue for Gears of War 4. Not a single Xbox One in sight, all of the EGX 2016 builds of Gears of War 4 are currently running on a high-end PC. There might be Xbox Ones around the corner but I can’t see from here.

For the most part, the PC version seems to be running fine and it looks damn fine too. The players seem to be enjoying the extended demo of what we’ve seen at E3-although one person has stormed off for seemingly no reason.

This is when it does work. While I haven’t had my hands on time yet, everyone in the queue is currently spectating the short twenty to thirty minute demo eagerly awaiting their chance to play the highly-anticipated shooter, however, it seems that people are running into a few issues.

While Gears of War 4 is currently running a preview build, release is not far off at all. Graphical issues involving colored flashes reminiscent of Christmas trees and crashes to the desktop have been witnessed although the crashes I’ve witnessed seems to have been tied to unactivated Windows 10 PCs. This could be the cause or just a coincidence but crashes are happening and graphical glitches are happening and Gears of War 4’s PC version could very well follow the same path as every other Play Anywhere game to date.
