Halo 5: Guardians’ Forge mode is one of the most complex map creators ever created on a console. While not on the level of an actual game engine, the map editor allows users to create fantastic work ranging from a massive recreation of someone’s childhood bedroom to a recreation of Emerald Coast from Sonic Adventure.
Something that has been missing from Halo 5, however, is a file browser so players can easily find maps and modes that other creators have made. 343 have announced at the Rooster Teeth Expo today that the file browser will launch on Xbox One with the release of Halo 5: Guardians – Forge Edition on Windows 10.
The Windows 10 version of Halo 5 Forge will also include links to community created tutorials, as well as including some basic tutorials, in order to learn how to make maps as well as teaching the various intricacies of the editor.
