New games including Alan Wake now backward compatible

Update: Some users are also seeing Halo Wars as ready to install on Xbox One. Larry Hryb confirmed it’ll be backward compatible later today.

Today Microsoft added three new games to backwards compatibility including Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Pac-Man, and the popular Alan Wake. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a 2D platform-adventure, action RPG and is a great title if you like the Castlevania series.

Pac-Man is basically a specific version of the classic arcade game Pac-Man and should be pretty iconic to almost anyone that plays video games.

Alan Wake is a very popular psychological thriller horror game and was made by the same people making Quantum Break and actually inspired it as well. These titles are available for anyone that owns them on Xbox 360 and can also be bought through Xbox.com if you are interested.

It’s great that they are adding big titles like Alan Wake to backwards compatibility and am excited to see what else they add.
