New games including Assassin’s Creed now backward compatible

Microsoft seems to be working hard to offer more backward compatible titles to the catalog, as three more were just added today. Larry Hryb announced on Twitter that the team has brought Dark Void, Grid 2, and even the original Assassin’s Creed to Xbox One backward compatibility.

Dark Void is a sci-fi action-adventure third-person shooter in which you have to fight an alien threat and use a jetpack as part of a unique vertical cover system.

Grid 2 is a popular racing game that offers real world locations, a great handling system, and awesome customization options.

Assassin’s Creed is probably the most well-known name on the list. This action-adventure stealth game allows you to become an assassin during the Third Crusade in 1191 while also putting an interesting spin on the history itself.

I’m glad that Microsoft is working so quickly to bring these games to Xbox One, but consumers are still hoping for a few of the most requested games to be made available, such as Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, my personal favorite. Be sure to check back into ICXM soon to see which new titles get added to the list.
