One of the greatest parts of the recent Sega livestream was the announcement of the upcoming Sonic Mania, the compilation/remaster/new experience which comes to Xbox One and PC in 2017. Polygon have released twelve full minutes of gameplay of Sonic Mania straight out of PAX West 2016.
The new footage shows off the remastered Green Hill Zone as well as the new Studiopolis which, while looking very familiar to die-hard Sonic fans, also introduce some brand new obstacles as well. This new video shows off some of the multiple paths that players will be able to take as well as bringing the glorious sounds of Sonic Mania’s remastered music. Check out the video below.
