Titanfall 2 won’t be part of EA Access anymore

Update: Respawn confirmed Titanfall 2 won’t be part of EA Access and the listing on the website wasn’t made in error. Subscribers won’t get a discount on the game nor will they get an early trial. The game will still come to the EA Access Vault eventually judging by the fact that the first game made its way there but we don’t have any confirmation on that. The wait will probably be a long one. I’m willing to bet you that Sony probably didn’t want any sort of advantage going to Xbox One owners when it came to early access or price. Star Wars: Battlefront must’ve taught them that when it unperformed. They definitely have the marketing deal that’s why all of this deceit is making its way to Titanfall 2.

It seems that EA Access discounts don’t apply to Titanfall 2 anymore. I’m not sure why this is the case because I’m positive the game was available for less when it first came out. Either ways, the terms and conditions have been updated and many users are reporting the they aren’t able to see the game at a discount even though they’re active EA Access subscribers. I’m not sure why this is the case but I imagine it has to do with a marketing deal. It might be that Sony has secured marketing rights and don’t want Xbox One customers to get the game at a lower price. Who knows? Either ways, it’s not available at those rates anymore. We’ve reached out to EA for comment and shall update you as soon as we know more. You can read about the exclusion here yourself in the meantime.
