When Windows 10 started being rolled out to mobile devices, no one thought that they would be able to stream their Xbox One to their Windows Phone devices but that idea is becoming a reality. Rumors that started appearing in May got a lot of Windows Mobile owners hyped for a feature that would not be confirmed until just now appeared on the device’s built-in Xbox App.
What was originally thought of as a bug showed players the option to Play from console—a feature that streams your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC—appear on the mobile version of the app. This bug was quickly debunked, however, with the option only appearing due to the universal nature of modern Microsoft applications.
MSPowerUser, a Microsoft-focused website, were able to use a Microsoft app that has been recently compiled to work with Windows 10 Mobile which, when paired with a Bluetooth-enabled Xbox One controller, allows users to play their Xbox One on a Windows Phone or Tablet.
This really is an incredible feat and the feedback of Xbox owners right now puts a very heavy emphasis on the fact that they might want this to be an official feature of Windows Mobile devices in the future. Tell us what you think in the comments below.
