Before Battlefield 1, there was only one other proper WW1 FPS on the market, Verdun, a PC-only multiplayer shooter. Verdun, which was set to release on August 30th has been delayed on Xbox One and is currently left without a solid release date.
In response to this delay, developers Blackmill Games and M2H have said that they “We hope to get the game as soon as possible on this great platform. Yet in order to deliver you a true trench warfare experience we need a little more time.”
