Windows 10 universal apps reportedly coming to Xbox One soon

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has reportedly confirmed that Windows 10 Universal Apps will be coming to Xbox One soon.

The report from Microsoft Insider says that Nadella was responding to questions at the Madrid dotNet Conference when he addressed Windows 10 apps on Xbox One. He seemingly confirmed that they would indeed come to Xbox One at some point, but unfortunately, we don’t have an estimated date other than ‘soon.’ Xbox One was already integrated with Windows 10 as of the NXOE update in November 2015.

On February 25, Microsoft is holding an Xbox and Windows 10 event in San Francisco to showcase Xbox’s spring lineup. We may get more details regarding Windows 10 apps then, however all coverage is set to hit on March 1, so we might not know right away unless information leaks out.
