Microsoft’s By The Numbers website provides interesting statistics about the company. One of the most interesting snippets of information has to be the total number of programs on the Windows Store. According to Microsoft, there are 669,000 phone, tablet and desktop apps currently on the Windows Store.
It’s great to see that there are so many programs available. Hopefully more developers will utilize the Windows Store to distribute their software because of features like cross-buy and universal apps. It’s a significant total already.
