Microsoft announces 350 million active Windows 10 users

Microsoft announced today that Windows 10 reached 350 million active installations this month. The amount signifies Microsoft reaching 35% of their total install goal of 1 billion devices by 2018 as set out by them during the launch of Windows 10 a year ago.

This was also announced in conjunction with the new Windows 10 Anniversary update which will roll out to all devices running Windows 10 on August 2. Also, the Windows 10 free program ends July 29, which is just one month away. Microsoft warned customers to secure their free upgrade today, to ensure they’re in line to get the free upgrade.

Windows 10 Anniversary Update features many improvements, especially in the field of Cortana, Inking Capabilities, and the ability to sync up your notifications between your Windows 10 device and any other device—be it Android or iOS—you may use.

Windows 10 Anniversary will be available to all users on Windows 10, Windows Mobile, Windows IOT, Xbox One and Surface.
