Among Microsoft’s slew of announcements today, including the official unveiling of the beautiful Surface Laptop, they also revealed that streaming service Spotify will be coming to the Windows Store in the coming weeks.
The streaming service is incredibly popular and its introduction to the Windows Store is a massive plus for those who use it. What is even more exciting however, is that the release of Spotify on Windows Store could potentially see the app moving to UWP, making it available on Xbox One.
With the support for the dedicated Windows Phone Spotify ending recently, it would make sense for Spotify to take their app over to UWP in order to support multiple platforms simultaneously.
