Titanfall might have sold over 10 million copies to date

Titanfall, the Xbox and PC first-person shooter that launched in March 2014, might have sold 10 million copies according to Vince Zampella, the co-founder of Respawn Entertainment. Zampella shared this information with his followers on Twitter. Were they celebrating 10 million sales or players, I don’t know.

At E3 earlier this year, Titanfall was added to EA Access’ Vault that allows subscribers to play it for free. I wonder if this 10 million figure includes those users. Either ways, considering that EA Access costs money, it still counts as sales in my opinion. Microsoft and Respawn Entertainment made all DLC free to users earlier this year as well in an attempt to unify the player base and keep the game populated. I loved the game and wish the team even more success for the sequel.
