We reviewed Trulon: The Shadow Engine a few days ago and unfortunately rated the game 2 out of 10 due to the many bugs we found in it. The game crashed and it erased all of your progress. It was frustrating and prevented us from recommending a good game because of these severe game-breaking problems. Luckily, the developers reached out to us and said the following:
“I’m very happy to inform you that the latest Trulon: The Shadow Engine patch is now live, fixing most of that issues. We are aware of only one issue left now, inside the quite hidden Hunter in the Dark side quest, disabling the fight between the last enemy which forces you to restart the game. This one has been solved as well now, we’re just awaiting the certification from Microsoft, coming probably next week. But all other bugs should be gone now, just update the game on your console, so as you apparently liked the game itself, if it wouldn’t have that bugs, the whole Headup Games crew would be very happy if you could…inform your community about the update. We deeply apologize for all inconveniences.”
It’s great that the developers fixed the problems promptly. Our reviewer, Jess, is playing the game again after the update and we’ll let you know how it plays now. Expect an update from us in the next few days. Until then, if you bought the game, just update it so it doesn’t have the game-breaking issues anymore.
