Since the Incursions update launched on April 12, a lot of Xbox One gamers have complained that some of their characters were deleted from their Xbox One consoles. Ubisoft acknowledged this problem quite quickly and it appears that they’re fixing it. In a statement to the BBC, Ubisoft said:
“The issue was caused by a malfunctioning server that couldn’t synchronise character data correctly and corrupted them instead. The game client was unable to read this corrupted data, and simply assumed that the character didn’t exist.”
It’s great to see that Ubisoft addressed this issue this quickly and discussed a solution. I was scared my character was gone forever.
