Grand Theft Auto 5’s Freemode Events update launches September 15, includes Rockstar Editor

Rockstar has just released a new trailer and details for their new Freemode Events update for Grand Theft Auto Online. This update will be exclusive to Xbox One, PC and PS4. This will include the previously PC exclusive Rockstar Video Editor which allows players to create cinematic videos in Grand Theft Auto V by messing with camera angles, character models and other features that could only be achieved on the new consoles and PC. It also includes a brand new feature that will trigger random events in freemode without having to enter a load screen or a lobby, and two new adversary modes.

Some of the new events that will occur in the sun soaked city of Los Santos will be changing into a werewolf type beast and having increased strength and speed to get away from players who will begin to hunt you down, driving a designated vehicle rigged with a bomb to a drop off location, if you drop below a certain speed your car will explode all while players are trying to kill you, so you’ll have to navigate the streets Keanu Reeves style!

The update will drop September 15 and will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
