Two new unique indie games will make their way to Xbox One in the near future. Velocity 2X, the crazy and colorful platformer, and AIPD, a new arcade shooter from Blazing Badger, will release for the console in the next few months. These titles have a lot of hype around them already and they will make great additions to the Xbox One game catalog.
Velocity 2X
Futurlab just confirmed that acclaimed platformer Velocity 2X is coming to Xbox One soon. Futurlab is in charge of porting the game to Microsoft’s system while Sierra is handling the business side of publishing. Futurlab noted that they will retains the rights to Velocity so that they can exercise control over the creative direction of the franchise in the future. We’ve always wanted to play this game and now we finally have the chance. Be sure to look out for our review when it releases.
AIPD: Artificial Intelligence Police Department
Blazing Badger have teamed up with publisher Epic Games to announce that their new twin-stick top-down shooter, AIPD: Artificial Intelligence Police Department, will be hitting the Xbox One later this year. Blazing Badger are a German indie developer who have worked on such titles as Crysis and Lords of the Fallen. This is their first Xbox One game and it looks stunning as well as a lot of fun. This is another title we can’t wait to play.
