Dead Rising: Watchtower is a live-action zombie film “based on the worldwide video game phenomenon,” and it will officially start streaming everywhere March 27th on Crackle but in true video game fashion there is an exclusivity deal. Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners will be able to stream Dead Rising: Watchtower earlier than everyone else, on March 20 to 26.
Dead Rising: Watchtower stars Jesse Metcalfe who plays Chase Carter, a reporter chasing glory. There is also a cameo appearance by Rob Riggle who plays Frank West in the movie. The outbreak appears to start from a bad batch of Zombrex. Some well-known Dead Rising material is also visible in the trailer including some wicked looking crafted weapons, a Servbot shirt and some special infected. Check out the trailer below.
Dead Rising: Watchtower is available tomorrow on Crackle for Xbox 360 and Xbox One users and everywhere on March 27. I am huge zombie fan, so this movie is on my must watch list for this weekend. Do any of you plan to watch Dead Rising: Watchtower this weekend?
