Update: Amazon lists the expansion for May 27.
According to the fairly renowned Polish gaming website called GRY-OnLine.pl, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion might be releasing on June 7th. The screenshot shown below displays “07 czerwca 2016,” with “czerwca” being the Polish word for “June,” as the worldwide release date (światowa data premiery). June 7th also happens to be a Tuesday, the day of the week when it is most common for video games and DLC to be released. Compare with The Witcher 3 base game and the Hearts of Stone DLC, which were released on May 19 and October 13 respectively, both Tuesdays. Furthermore, CD Projekt RED has been pushing for Blood and Wine to release during Q2, so June makes sense in that aspect too. Nevertheless, this is merely a speculation, and nothing can be said for certain yet. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as this story develops. Meanwhile, why not take a look at our The Witcher 3 review or our Hearts of Stone review while you’re waiting?
