The Witcher franchise recently passed 20 million copies sold according to CD Projekt RED in their financial report. This is definitely a signifiant milestone for the developer and establishes the games as one of the most popular titles in modern gaming.
According to Dreyer Smit of TiCGN who analyzed the results, “CDProjektRed during their annual Investors Briefing bared some interesting figures in regards to their Witcher series. According to the Developer, they sold over 20 Million units of the Witcher series since its launch in 2007.” This is definitely a great find which was buried under a lot of other data.
