Another publishing giant has said they won’t have a booth on the E3 show floor this year. Today, Activision revealed they will not have a booth or dedicated area on the show floor at E3. They will be presenting their new titles at Sony’s E3 press conference. The new Call of Duty will be revealed at the Sony press conference and will only be playable at the PlayStation booth.
This isn’t the first publisher who has decided not to have a show floor presence at E3, earlier this year EA announced they will instead be holding a public event that will allow fans and other people who can’t attend E3 to come play their upcoming games.
Is this the beginning of the end for E3? Only time will tell, do you think any other publishers will drop E3? Let us know in the comments below.
