Space exploration game Adr1ft has been cancelled for Xbox One. All mentions of an Xbox One version have been removed from both the publisher’s and developer’s websites.
This discovery was noticed by New Game Network, who contacted developer Three One Zero when they found that mentions of an Xbox One version were mysteriously gone. Three One Zero CEO Adam Orth confirmed that Adr1ft was indeed cancelled for Xbox One, briefly saying, “ADR1FT will not be coming to Xbox One. I hope (fans) are able to find some way to experience and enjoy it on our other platforms.”
Adr1ft follows astronaut Commander Alex Oshima, who is left floating out in space among the wreckage of a space station after a catastrophic event. Players need to explore the environment while managing their oxygen supply in hopes of figuring out what happened and potentially finding a way home.
Adr1ft was originally announced for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is currently available for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Steam and PlayStation 4.
