Everyone pretend to act surprised. Assassin’s Creed Origins preorder cards have leaked through Target, naming a bonus mission in the game. On the Steelbook Gold Edition reservation card is an image of the presumed protagonist in front of a pyramid. The assassin is equipped with a shield, a bow, and an eagle on his shoulder, rumored to be controllable like in Far Cry Primal.
The Gold Edition contains the game, deluxe pack, season pass (of course), and a steelbook. Those who preorder will be granted access to a bonus mission called Secrets of the First Pyramids. Although the preorder card is for the PlayStation 4 version, it does not say that any content is exclusive, so it’s safe to assume that Xbox players who preorder will also get the bonus mission as well.
A release date is not shown, however Assassin’s Creed Origins will likely launch this fall.
