We all know by now that a new Battlefield game is being developed by EA and DICE, and besides the fact that it will bring back World War 1 or World World 2 environments there isn’t much information about it. Well that’s until now…
According to a picture posted on imgur.com it appears that the content from future DLC to be added to the game has been leaked, as you can see in the image below.
All the content appears to be new maps, and a future new game mode to be played which, and following the example of Battlefield 4, seems to be the strategy that both EA and DICE have created for the Battlefield franchise’s post launch DLC content.
Apart from the names of the maps, or at least the names that they have while in development, there is only a release date for the first one, December 6, and the fact that the second DLC will include some of the fan-favourite maps from Battlefield 4 developed in the Frostbite 3 Engine, which seems to lead to the engine that is being used to develop the upcoming game.
Besides the DLC content listing there are also two other images that have been leaked, one is related to the cover of the first DLC and the other seems to point to the date when Battlefield 5 will be officially announced to the public, which is the same date when the EA Play conference will start.
If these leaked pictures are real or not there isn’t much information to support any of the answers and the best way to be certain of it is when EA decides to officially announce the new game, which is certain to happen during their EA Play conference alongside E3 2016.
