With E3 2017 on the horizon, Bethesda has sent out invites to the event that include a picture hinting at upcoming reveals. The picture imagines Bethesda as an amusement park called Bethesdaland, with sections featuring classic Bethesda franchises like Doom, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Prey, Dishonored, and Quake. Two areas, however, remain under construction, hinting that the publisher/developer could be gearing up for a few surprise reveals at E3.
The two most likely reveals would be sequels to Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Evil Within, the former having been teased at last year’s E3 with the title being referred to as New Colossus. Rumors have likewise been floating about that The Evil Within 2 is in the works, with a job listing supposedly indicating as much. There is always the possibility that the image could mean nothing and is simply an innocent artistic interpretation of what Bethesdaland would be, but it seems more likely that it is hinting at future reveals.
Bethesda’s press conference is set to take place on Sunday, June 11.
