Update: The game is getting a free-to-play weekend for Gold members. Multiplayer is also going free this weekend for everyone on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection looks like it’s available for free to many Xbox Live users. Tomek on Twitter pointed this out to us as he was able to redeem something called the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Unlock Bundle. I imagine this is an error on Microsoft’s part as unlock bundles are available to the press usually.
One of our writers tried it out and it works. For some odd reason it’s showing up in Ready to Install. So, if you own and Xbox One be sure to download the games. They’re a lot of fun and Borderlands 2 is just epic. Tell us how it goes.
